The company extended services for capacity Building of Field level Functionaries and Community; provided support services in the development of approaches & processes, particularly focusing on drought mitigation in Rayalaseema region of Andhra Pradesh; significant efforts were put in to strengthen the functioning of Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) and Value Chain Promotion of Millets; considerable focus was also there on to develop, innovate and promote low-cost agricultural equipment and related technologies, through ‘Farm Easy’, an in-house enterprise. The basic idea of these efforts was to ease out drudgery and cost burden among the rural farmers, and also to facilitate improvement in crop yields and livelihoods of the dependent communities in rainfed conditions. WASSAN Foundation has internal IT Capacity to provide bundled IT enabled services to the development sector. Support to APDMP in setting up the project IT system, supporting Odisha Millets Mission on a pro bono basis in setting up its web based project monitoring system, dash boards, data base/ server maintenance etc.
